Okay 2 minute post. So CK is doing this huge Scrapbooker of the year contest. Contributing Editors and past and present HOFers can enter. Am I the only one discouraged that there is NO WAY for a normal person to even think of winning this? Oy. Okay Super negative post over lol! Back to cleaning with some fun music on. Hooray!!!

no, you are not the only one, but I think it would be good for all us non-traditional creators to enter this and make a difference.
are you in?
I saw this today also. It would be great if they picked an average scrapper...but I think many are going to be turned off because it includes contributing editors and HOF's...I know I am.
Nope. I'm discouraged, too. I figure that if I didn't get picked for HOF or HM (with a much larger number of finalists!), I don't have a chance of this. Who knows...I might, but again because of the challenge. More likely I won't.
I am surprised that it came so soon after HOF announcement, though. You'd think it would have been pushed a little further back, wouldn't you?
Unfortunately, I agree with you. It is very discouraging, both with the traditional paper biases out there, and the HOFers being eligible. I can't believe contributing editors are, too. That seems odd. I bet a LOT of really good people don't enter for these reasons.
Oh, and once again, it's not open to the Aussie gals... *pout* like I had any chance of winning anyway!
