CT update.
I am so upset about all this. In the end I need Clay to figure out how to fix all this. I can't find my Outlook Express emails in the backup. I can't get the Thunderbird emails to import and I have to search through folders and open them in TB one by one. I am supposed to be going to Texas Monday and am so far from ready and am getting some curt emails from people asking when the call is gonna go out, not that curt emails help your chances. Just know this. I am a tad more than stressed out, I can't figure out how to get to all my emails and I am dependant on my hubby to get it done. I MAY have convinced him to work on it tonight but still I have to run around like mad to get ready to go to Texas. So please be understanding with me as I just can't seem to get it together. I understand all that may choose to withdraw their application. I understand. In the end I will do my best when I get back to get it done within that week. Boy I'm tired. It's late and I have spent forever trying to get all this to work. Read the next blog entry as it's not so despairing :) :)

Kim, don't stress! I'm sure everyone understands that things happen. What about having everyone send their applications again? Or would that just be nuts? I don't know...seems like it might be easier in the long run for you! Have a great trip!!! :)

Stuff happens. Things don't always go as smoothly as planned. I've been very anxious to hear the call but I understand life gets in the way! You go to Texas and have a great time, Kim. Don't stress about people being upset over this. In the grande scheme of life it so does not matter if your ct call is later than you would have liked.

Kim, Don't stress out! If people are leaving you rude emails...then they shouldn't be on your team! Do you really want to have to deal with that?!? PLUS...it gives the "nice" girls like me a better chance! ;) LOL...
Anyways, I was thinking what Keela said. What if you had everyone just re-email their applications to you? It isn't like you required a huge amount of information. It would literally only take people a few minutes and it would save you HOURS of aggrevation. Just an idea...

so sorry to hear that some people are being rude with ya. That's just not cool. You always seem to have nothing but kindness for everyone. All my e-mails go to my sent folder so it would be really easy to re-send the app. e-mail. Why don't you get us to do that? I know others have said the same, it just sounds easier than what you are going through. well...whatever makes life less stressfull for you :). have a great trip and thanks so much for the flowers

Aww Kim! I can't believe anyone would send you curt emails! It's certainly not like you are just ignoring the CT announcement! You are having issues with computers and email. Period.
If it helps solve your problems you can just hire me on as your CT. Since I missed the call initially and everything! LOL
I'm so sorry you are having computer problems. Please don't stress over this. Perhaps people should just resend their entries? Take it easy have have a great trip! If you can't make an announcement before then...so be it. I wish you luck with your computer. Oh and BTW...Thank you so much for the flower freebie! They're beautiful!
Kim, Like it was said before, Don't stress! I know it is hard for you to be going through this added stress on top of a trip coming up and all...hang in there! I am just excited to be on that list of CT hopefuls! TAKE CARE and have a safe trip! Bring summer clothes it is HOT here in TEXAS! It was 90 two days ago and still hitting mid 80's as I write this. Hope it all works out for you soon.
Aww, how sad that you're getting curt emails now. LOL although I must say, whoever is sending them isn't that smart.
Would it help you if I set up a yahoo email account for you and people could resend their applications there? If people are truly dedicated then they won't mind resending. I can get it all set up for you, create some sub-folders, etc. and you can change the password once it's ready. If you just advertise about it here on your blog and not at JDC, 2peas, SBB, etc. then you probably will only get emails from your original applicants and won't have to worry about new people trying to apply.

Don't worry, Kim. If it would make it easier on you, I'd be happy to resubmit my application again, too. As Bookwoman suggested, you might try webmail. That's how I access my email and that way I don't have to worry about being at a specific computer.

I really dont understand people who feel you owe them the news of having a Creative Team Call when they should feel they owe you for the wonderful privilege of being called into one :) I know there are a lot of hopefuls, so I know this might be a great pressure but hey, relax, and have fun in texas :D

Well, I have to agree with what everyone else has said. It's just horrible that people can be so rude! Enjoy your trip (I'm jealous, it snowed here last week), and don't worry about us, lol! We'll all wait patiently until you come back. Oh, and I second (third, eighteenth??) the idea of having people resubmit. I think it would save you a ton of work in the long run.

Oh Kim, dont worry about the emails!! If people cant wait a few extra weeks, or understand that its out of your control then its their tough luck :) I am more than happy to resend the app, and wait patiently till you get back to do so.. its not worth all this stress and headaches for you to worry about it too much, cos things always have a way of working out :)
Take care of yourself and try not to get too worked up over this.. easier said than done I know ;)

Hang in there Kim. Maybe you should just put the call out again and start over. If anyone gets upset...then they aren't someone you would want on your team anyway! I'm sure those who really want to be a part of your team will be understanding and wouldn't mind resending their application. I know I wouldn't mine! Chin up ...
